EDmarket Certified Learning Place Specialist (ECLPS)
ECLPS is a new comprehensive and research-informed certification program to elevate the learning experience of school district and industry professionals tasked with planning, managing, and designing learning environments of the future.
Participants in the ECLPS certification program will envision a new future for all learners by providing the knowledge and tools required to ensure that investments in new and renovated learning spaces result in high quality, collaborative, and healthy places to learn that positively impact learning and teaching. Complete the three-level program and earn 30+ AIA LU and HSW credits or generate certificates to meet your continuing education requirements.
ECLPS ENCOMPASSES THREE LEVELS
LEVEL ONE — FOUNDATIONS
Change the WHY to a future-focused vision by ensuring the guidelines are implemented into decision-making protocols for Interior Architectural/Interior Design solutions across an educational campus at levels for all learning places. (Duration: Sept.-Dec. 2025)
LEVEL THREE — IMPLEMENTATION & MANAGEMENT
Change the WHAT by managing the planning, processes, alignment, and implementation by integrating the components, plus policy/codes into the visioning for any upfit, renovation, or new project. (Duration: April-June 2026)
What is the ECLPS DIFFERENCE?
ECLPS is a professional designation that recognizes professionals who have demonstrated competency in the development of learning ecosystems and space design strategies. The ECLPS Certification Program focuses on mastering core competencies in how we learn, how learning processes impact that learning, and how both concepts are critical to developing informed/intentional design solutions. Under the direction of Dr. Lennie Scott-Webber, ECLPS is embedded with research-based, design decision-making protocols from envisioning, planning, generating and implementing solutions that lead to measurable improvement to student outcomes. Each cource consists of presentations augmented by experts in the field who have a wealth of experience and are willing to share their personal stories.
The ECLPS Program is a great opportunity to collaborate with fellow professionals and learn from experts who have successfully designed intentional spaces that take into account how people learn best. Through its research-based protocols and strategies, this program truly empowers participants to design innovative learning spaces.
