Membership Built for the Education Market

EDmarket offers organizational and individual membership options for businesses, education institutions, public agencies, professionals, and students.

Already covered by your employer? If your employer maintains an active EDmarket organizational membership, you should participate through that membership whenever possible.

Choose Your Membership

Select the membership option that best reflects your employment and organizational affiliation.

For Organizations

Organizational Membership

  • Business levels are based on the number of participating employees
  • School District/Public Authority levels are based on student population
  • One Account Administrator manages the organization's membership
  • Participating members receive all core member benefits

Primary Members receive full individual member participation, including one designated Account Administrator. Associated Members may be added without limit under the organization’s active membership.

Eligibility and Participation

Business Memberships are intended for organizations serving or supporting the education marketplace.

Eligible Organizations

Business Memberships are available to privately and publicly owned organizations, including:

  • Manufacturers, dealers, distributors, and independent manufacturers’ representatives
  • Architects, engineers, and educational planners
  • Service providers and industry partners
  • Other organizations that do not qualify for the School District/Public Authority Membership category

Participating Employee Requirements

To receive member pricing and member-exclusive access, an employee must:

  • Be listed on the organization's active EDmarket membership roster
  • Use the same email address associated with their membership record
  • Register under their individual member profile for EDmarket and A4LE programs and events

Account Administrator & Membership Management

Each organizational membership designates one Account Administrator who serves as the primary contact between the organization and EDmarket.

Account Administrator Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for membership communications
  • Manage the organization's participating member roster
  • Add and remove participating employees or members
  • Update employee and member information
  • Receive membership renewal notices and account updates
  • Maintain the organization's membership throughout the year

Once the membership is activated, the Account Administrator will receive instructions for submitting and maintaining the organization's roster.

Managing Your Membership Roster

Add members when space is available.
New employees or eligible participants may be added during the membership year when open participation slots are available.
Upgrade when participation grows.
Business organizations may move to the next membership level when additional employee participation is needed.
Replace individuals who leave.
A participating member who is no longer employed by the organization may be replaced by another eligible individual.
Annual Membership Renewal

Business Memberships are valid for one year and renew annually based on the organization's membership anniversary date.

During each renewal period, organizations have a 90-day roster update window—beginning 60 days before and ending 30 days after the membership expiration date—to add, remove, or replace participating employees for the upcoming membership year.

Once the renewal window closes, the roster is locked for the remainder of the membership year. Outside of the renewal window, roster changes are limited to replacing participating employees who are no longer employed by the organization. New employees may be added only as replacements for departing employees.
Membership dues are billed annually. Eligibility requirements apply, and membership rates and benefits are subject to change.
