A4LE and EDmarket have made the decision to pause the EDmarket Certified Learning Place Specialist™ (ECLPS™) Cohort 4 program until Fall 2027 as part of the ongoing integration of the two organizations.
This pause will allow time to thoughtfully evaluate and strengthen the future structure of the program within the newly combined organization. As part of this process, A4LE and EDmarket also plan to further align the program with the accreditation standards of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) to help ensure the continued value and relevance of the credentialing experience.
A4LE and EDmarket fully recognize and value the significant investment that individuals, companies, and industry partners have made in the ECLPS™ program over the years. This pause does not diminish the value or validity of the ECLPS™ designation earned by past or current graduates. Existing ECLPS™ credential holders will continue to be recognized for their achievement and professional commitment to the learning environments industry.
Current registrants will be offered the option of a full refund, deferred enrollment into the Fall 2027 cohort, or a credit toward another A4LE/EDmarket offering.
