John Dale, FAIA is Principal and Pre-K12 Studio Leader at HED. Reflecting evidence-based research, he believes that students thrive in sustainable, resilient environments. A former Chair of the AIA’s Committee on Architecture for Education, he promotes research and design for changing pedagogies. He is also a Board Member and Past-President of the A+D Museum, Los Angeles. John is Co-Founder and President of the Council on Open Building – a national interdisciplinary network dedicated to designing for change.
