Dear EDmarket Community:

The extent of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) across the country has become more clear, and more sobering. As with many public health issues, this one is both highly complicated and rapidly evolving.

Responding quickly to daily information updates from federal and state officials, hospitals statewide have mobilized to care for their communities and protect their workers. Your association has also mobilized — to connect with decision-makers, synthesize information, and advocate for you to get the resources you need.

As our country continues preparation for widespread infections and takes action to mitigate the impact, our priority is the health and well-being of the people we serve, our members. There are three critical areas the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is proactively addressing right now: prevention, testing, and treatment.

We are taking decisive action to help prevent the spread of this disease through social distancing and other measures, to ensure that our members have access to the CDC information addressing COVID-19 and Small Business Administration Resources curated for your reference by our team.

We will devote our resources, insights, and abilities to collaborate with key partners to confront and resolve this challenge. Working together with federal, state and community leaders; fellow associations in the space; and other essential partners, we are confident that we can collectively overcome this challenge and keep ourselves and families safe and healthy. You can check EDmarket.org for periodic updates and information.

Stay safe as you possibly can by following the CDC guidelines, as we wish you and your family health and peace of mind.

Sincerely,

Angela Nelson
EDmarket Board Chair
