The Challenge:
Physical space plays a critical role in learning, influencing student engagement, focus, and emotional well-being. However, designing and renovating educational spaces is often complex, time-consuming, and expensive. How can we make this process more inclusive, efficient, and accessible?

Designing educational spaces involves solving "wicked problems"-challenges that are complex, ill-defined, and have no single "right" solution. These problems involve multiple stakeholders with diverse perspectives, requiring creative and adaptive approaches rather than standard methods. (Learn more about wicked problems)

A Solution: Human + Generative AI
Generative AI is a powerful tool for tackling wicked problems. It enables educators, students, parents, and communities to participate actively in the design process. Through data gathering, co-designing, image generation and idea sharing, AI helps build consensus and garner support for funding, democratizing the design process.

This workshop introduces a new framework that combines Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs with a new series of AI generated Design Patterns, supporting emotional health and learning, as well as workforce skills as identified by the World Economic Forum. With Generative AI, we can reimagine educational spaces to better meet the needs of today's learners while preparing them for the future.

The Chairman's Roundtable brings thought leaders together with EDmarket executives to explore industry challenges and future and engage in strategic conversation.

The Roundtable consists of quarterly virtual meetings that provide members with a unique opportunity to build connections and stay informed about the latest developments in the industry. These valuable discussions include breakout sessions moderated by EDmarket Past Chairs, EDmarket executives and team leaders providing insight to help participants become more successful and better prepared to face an uncertain future.

How to Participants:

Choose the Chairman's Roundtable as one of your optional membership benefits and up to two executives from corporate members can attend.
Corporate members: if you have already selected your membership benefits for the year, you can add this option for two executives to participate by paying an additional $1,000 fee.

Frequency:

Virtual events will be held on the third Thursday in February, May, and August from 3:30-5:00 PM ET.
Sessions will be recorded and made available on the Content Hub for participants to re-watch.
An in-person gathering will take place at the prestigious EDmarket Leadership Event during EDspaces.
