Essentials Contribution Guidelines

Thank you for expressing interest in writing for Essentials Magazine.



Article Guidelines

  • Visit our archives to get a better sense of the different types of topics your article could focus on.
  • Your article should be original. If you want an already published article to be republished in Essentials, you'll need to email us with a link to the original post and provide us with confirmation that the original author(s) has signed off on their post being reposted to our site.
  • Your post must not include marketing-related links and must not be entirely self-promotional.
  • There is no minimum length, but we recommend about 1,000-1,200 words for decent depth and detail.
  • We request 5-6 images that support your article. Please include captions and any photo credits. Images should be at least 200x200 pixels, JPG or PNG format. If you submit a stock photo, please ensure that it is royalty-free and able to be shared used for educational purposes.
  • Use short paragraphs, subheadings, and/or bullet lists to break up your article.
  • Proofread your article before submitting it to us. Make sure to check your spelling and grammar.
  • Attribute any quoted/paraphrased info with links to the sources.

Author Bio Guidelines

  • Recommended length is 50-75 words (2-3 sentences).
  • Include email, LinkedIn, and company website addresses.
  • Include a clear, closeup headshot of each author, at least 100x100 pixels, JPG or PNG format.
